ALIVE, Inc. is a nonprofit Consumer Run Organization in Lawrence, Kansas. The purpose of the

organization is to advocate, educate, and provide programming and social support for members of the Douglas County community facing challenges with their mental and behavioral health. This includes individuals with mental illness or substance use disorders, unstable housing, or other serious challenges.

ALIVE does this in connection with Douglas County Peer Fellows Program, connecting individuals with certified peer specialists, and providing opportunities for support in concert with “Wellness Wednesdays” at various locations throughout the community.
